Kirby has over 20 years of experience in business development, acquisitions, land services, and operational leadership. His career spans the energy, midstream, and technology sectors, where he has held senior executive and director roles at Novacor Exploration, Foundation Auto Group, Border Surplus Management, Renton Land Services, and Predator Midstream. Mr. Renton brings a proven track record of driving growth, executing complex transactions, building high-performing teams, and delivering value across public and private organizations.
Rick has more than 25 years of corporate finance experience in technology, finance and hospitality industries. During that time, he has held progressively senior finance roles with public and private companies. He has supported numerous financing activities helping raise over $700 million of capital. In addition, he was a key contributor in a number of strategic transactions, ranging from $1 million to $3.4 billion, including valuation and integration activities. Rick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and CFA Charter holder.
Matthew Schwab is an accomplished exploration geologist and mining executive with over 15 years of experience in mineral exploration and development. As Senior Exploration Geologist at NexGen Energy, he played a key role in the 2014 discovery of the world-class Arrow uranium deposit in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. He was also part of the Hathor Exploration team involved in the Roughrider uranium deposit, which was acquired by Rio Tinto for $654 million. Mr. Schwab previously served as CEO of Kraken Energy Corp. and currently serves as CEO of Stallion Uranium Corp. His extensive geological expertise and proven track record in uranium exploration provide valuable technical and strategic guidance to UraniumX.
Erik Sehn is a professional geologist with nearly 10 years of experience in mineral exploration, project development, and discovery across Canada. He has contributed to significant uranium discoveries in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin, with experience spanning geological interpretation, exploration strategy, drill program execution, and project management. His technical expertise and discovery-focused approach provide valuable guidance to NiobiumX as the company advances its exploration portfolio.
